Blade Runner 2049: official prologue film.

Here’s a six minute-long prologue film released as an official teaser for the upcoming Blade Runner 2049 movie. It looks at how the world of Blade Runner 2049 was bridged after the doings and plot of the original flick.

Some of the ideas seem influenced by a certain award-winning science fiction book (The Windup Girl by writer Paolo Bacigalupi) – especially the food plague concept and mankind’s ultimate logical response to it. Ah well, there’s no original ideas under the sun.
