Avenue 5: new HBO scifi TV series (Love Boat in space?) (trailer).
The Thick Of It creator Armando Iannucci has rather oddly created a new scifi comedy series called Avenue 5, which comes across a little like the Love Boat in space.
I suspect, knowing Armando, that this will be more a diatribe on the super-rich wanting to abandon Earth’s poor to its woes and bugger off to space to live it large. Oh, and it has Hugh Laurie as the starship captain.
