In Star Trek Into Darkness, actor Cumberbatch is… eskimo red shirt John Harrison?

This new photo comes out way with the Cumberbatch character shown as ‘John Harrison’ – who appeared in about twelve episodes of the classic Trek as a red shirt, usually in the background, or as part of a landing party. John Harrison was meant to be an ethnic Eskimo – which, for all of Cumberbatch’s many talents, I don’t think he quite resembles. If memory serves, he died in the Space Seed episode, but don’t quote me on that. Also news in that actress Alice Eve is playing Doctor Carol Marcus, the Project Genesis creator and wife to Kirk’s only son, David. If that’s not a love interest, I don’t know what is!
