Javicia Leslie to be new Batwoman (TV news).

Actress Javicia Leslie is stepping up to pick up the Batwoman TV series cape from Kate Kane/Ruby Rose, who stepped back from the role recently.

J.L. is playing Batwoman via the civilian alter-ego of a new female ex-crook character called Ryan Wilder (so, maybe a kind of ‘what if Catwoman became Batwoman’-type-deal?).
