Krypton: Game of Thrones for Superman fans?
Looks like SyFy Channel are jumping on the DC TV superhero bandwagon with a series called Krypton, which stays focused on the events on Superman’s home planet during the civil war which eventually destroyed it.
The trailer makes it look like Game of Thrones for Superman fans.
The official blurb reads:
Set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, Krypton follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe, The Halcyon) — whose House of El was ostracized and shamed — as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos. Krypton premieres in 2018 on SYFY.
