Mattson Tomlin wrote and directed the Terminator-like science fiction thriller Mother/Android. Chloe Grace Moretz, Algee Smith, and Ral Castillo all feature in the SF film.

Mother/Android is a film set in a near future that follows Georgia (Chloe Grace Moretz) and her hubbie Sam (Algee Smith) on a perilous voyage of escape as the USA becomes embroiled in an unanticipated war with artificial intelligence.

They must cross No Man’s Land, a bastion of the android revolt, only days before the birth of their first child, in the hopes of reaching safety before giving birth. It’s more or less a zombie movie with androids replacing the undead.

Hulu is expected to premiere the film on December 17th, 2021.
