Star Wars Empire Strikes Back by Al Williamson: a comic-book retrospective.
Ed and Jim slide out a copy of the comic-book version of the Star Wars Empire Strikes Back film, with art by Al Williamson (Originally published in Star Wars #39 – 44).
It’s now available in a hardback artist’s edition from IDW for $150 large.
That’s quite a price-tag, but then, Al Williamson was quite an artist – with works that include his science-fiction/heroic-fantasy art for EC Comics in the 1950s, on titles including Weird Science and Weird Fantasy.
