Elevation: a post-apocalyptic scifi thriller (film).

Elevation, the upcoming post-apocalyptic action science fiction thriller directed by George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau), is set to hit theatres on November 8th, 2024. With an impressive cast led by Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), Morena Baccarin (Deadpool), and Maddie Hasson (Malignant), this dystopian adventure promises a chilling mix of sci-fi horror and survival.

The film follows a single father, played by Mackie, as he teams up with two women, portrayed by Baccarin and Hasson, to brave a world ravaged by monstrous alien invader creatures. Their mission: to risk it all to save a child’s life. In true post-apocalyptic fashion, their safety is fleeting, and the outside world is teeming with danger.

Elevation has been in the works since October 2022, with a screenplay by Kenny Ryan and Jacob Roman. Principal photography began in late 2022 in the hauntingly rugged landscapes of Colorado, wrapping in March 2023. With stunning natural backdrops and a cast with proven genre chops, the film is set to bring high-octane action and eerie creature designs to the screen.

Vertical acquired the distribution rights in May 2024, ensuring the film will make its way to audiences in the United States this autumn, just in time for sci-fi and horror fans to dive into this scifi adventure.
