I Am Mother (Netflix scifi movie: trailer).

Here’s an original science fiction movie, I Am Mother, landing with Netflix on June 7th 2019.

It features a young girl (played by Clara Rugaard), who is the first vat-grown human to be raised in a post-extinction disaster shelter by a droid called Mother (voiced by Rose Byrne).

But the robot mother and human child’s relationship is strained when an injured human survivor (played by Hilary Swank) breaks in with a counter-narrative to the “robots saving the world for you” story she’s heard.

So, who do you trust – possibly mad robot, or possibly demented rabid human survivor?

I’d go for the droid every time, myself! But that’s just me.
