Director Alexander Pfander has just launched the new episode of his sci-fi web series, Mission Backup Earth.
The series follows the struggle of humanity to colonize a habitable exo-planet . . . in the near future, a cosmic catastrophe hits the Earth without warning. Unforeseen by any scientist, the Sun transits rapidly into a red giant. Having no choice, mankind must escape the solar system. The survivors become space nomads, seeking a viable replacement for Earth.
David Prowse has given a guest appearance in the latest ep, playing the scientist who develops a potential mission to save human kind from extinction. David Prowse has also joined the ensemble for a number of guest appearances that will be shown in future episodes.
