Steven Caple Jr. is directing the science fiction action movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
It will be the sixth live-action Transformers movie and a follow-up to Bumblebee. This story with Optimus Prime takes place in 1994 in Brooklyn, New York City, and various locations in Peru.
In 1994, a journey across the world involving three Transformers factions — the Maximals, the Predacons, and the Terrorcons — leads a couple of archaeologists from Brooklyn into an ancient struggle. Ah, so we are now mining Transformers: Beast Wars if you can remember that far back.
Arriving June 9th, 2023, according to Paramount Pictures.
