Director Jordan Peele brings us some scary horror movie action in the form of Us, when a US Californian family are haunted by creepy evil versions of their own family.
The family in question are Lupita Nyong as Adelaide Wilson, a mum returning to her childhood home with hubby Gabe (Black Panther’s Winston Duke), and their pair of kids (Shahadi Wright Joseph and Evan Alex) and they all get a far more unpleasant reception from their evil doppelgangers than is usual in sunny California.
Just the trailer creeped me out. Which is why I usually give horror films a wide berth in this fan’s household!
