Michael Moorcock, the legendary fantasy novelist, returns to Forbidden Planet TV for a late-night chat with Andrew Sumner on a variety of topics, starting with the release of his long-awaited Elric book, The Citadel of Forgotten Myths.
Mike tells Sumner how he feels about his first new Elric story in 12 years – before delving into a wide-ranging discussion about many things, including: the essence of creativity; the glorious elasticity of the human liver; Mike’s dark times writing Byzantium Endures; the potentially corrosive effect of hero worship; Lewis Shiner’s rock & roll novels; Lemmy’s autobiography White Line Fever; hanging out at The Flamingo Club in 60s, and many other topics.
