Now here’s a puzzle for you. While we are investigating the stars looking for a trace of life, let alone sentient life, little is said about the UAPs that frequently get seen flying around the Earth. Despite investigations from the 1950s-2000, usually to discredit them or even to hide the flights of American stealth aircraft and other experimental aeroplanes, the evidence from 2002 from the USS Nimitz and its aircraft, there was both filmed and radar evidence of something that was beyond terrestrial technology. It confirmed things already noted by witnesses in the past of hovering craft that could accelerate beyond Mach 6 and gone in an instance. The sightings at sea and fewer than on land largely because of proportionately fewer people there. Even on land, sightings are rarely over-populated areas. They don’t appear to worry too much about being seen or make sense of what they are doing.

It has been alleged that at least one of these vehicles has been captured and held in the USA’s Area 51 but if any back-engineering had been possible, surely we would have seen some evidence incorporated into American aircraft by now to maintain their air superiority. It would also seem unlikely that they would leave any of their vehicles in the hands of primitive humans.

So, essentially, we have a fleet of aircraft, some saucer-like, others tubular or triangular and other shapes flying around the Earth, occasionally reported by people with the capability to hover to massive accelerations doing heaven knows what or where. These craft vary in size, so we might well have to assume that some are drones. We might assume that human abductions and returnees are put down to them more than animal mutilations.

If I was part of an alien research team on Earth, I might well want to do samplings occasionally of the dominate sentient species, especially as they have nuclear weapons. If they have a failing, it’s largely that some people can remember what happened to them. Then again, even they haven’t been particularly bothered them unless they are capable of understanding our media and think they won’t be believed. Thinking on this, there is a possibility that they might be letting the abductees remember to see how they cope with what they are really like. That alone would suggest they are familiar with cultural shock.

From this we might surmise that that fall into two categories. The so-called ‘Greys’, short hairless grey-skinned aliens with large black eyes or a version that is much taller. There are reports of other taller aliens and even reptilian-like beings as well. Assuming they aren’t variations of the same planetary species, we might well have at least three different survey teams on our planet. Whether they share technology or science isn’t possible to know, although we can presume similar breakthroughs as their craft act very similar. They are obviously not seeing each other as rivals or enemies but might have their own agendas.

It has been rumoured that their UAPs have paid particular attention to nuclear missile installations in different countries and even neutralised them. I doubt if any country is going to admit to that happening. It is the threat of Armageddon that has prevented a third world war. If the nuclear-armed countries are actually nuke-neutral, conventional war is back on the mernu. Nothing has been said about the payloads of nuclear submarines. If this was true, then these extra-terrestrials appear to be looking after us on some level or their own safety. I’m not sure if I would want to test that either way.

If they are survey teams, then if it follows a pattern that we’ve used, they might well have been left on Earth and their motherships have moved on and might return at a later date. I doubt if these motherships would come to our planet as depicted in Science Fiction films. More likely, they would stay out of sight and at least deflect radar at a distance that the teams would go up to them.

If the survey teams are waiting, there aren’t many choices. Are they waiting for us to mature and stop warring is going to be a long wait without their intervention. A nuclear world war would probably kill a large proportion of the human population but not all. It would not be a good idea if they were seeking out real estate for it to be a nuclear ruin unless they were really long-lived and could wait until it dissipates. If there are motherships, it might be a couple centuries or more for them to return or they could use the material as radioactive fuel. If they wanted to trigger a holocaust then they’ve had plenty of time to do so by now, so we have to assume they are non-hostile and at most observers. Under similar circumstances, we might well do the same. Hopefully, waiting for our species to mature before revealing themselves.

What is still a puzzle is why, when considering our radar systems sophistication, why we haven’t tracked UAPs to their home base. Yes, they are incredibly fast but it is possible to track them and build up a picture of where they are going, even if they make a deter doing so. For so long, the intelligence services have denied UAP existence but with evidence that there is something there, either they have put any investigation under deep cover or they are being totally dismissive. The fact that UAPs pass over all the countries of the worlds with impunity is still questionable. The number of military aircraft lost to them might just mean we’ve learnt our lesson. Observe but don’t pursue. Don’t play on the potential threat of vehicles that so easily out-class us but not actually attacked terrestrial aircraft yet. So, really, it’s their move next. Would they really intervene if they thought we were going to destroy ourselves? Klaatu barada nikto anyone?
