Going on up to the orbital heaven in the sky… Elysium.

Neill Blomkamp of District 9 fame currently has actor Matt Damon looking all cyberpunked-up for his next science fiction film… Elysium. This one has Matt Damon doing a Snake Plissken, trying to earn his pass up to the orbital habitat heavens by doing some dirty work on a very broken future Earth.

Sadly, the way we’re treating our environment – as long as anthropological global warming is true – it might be science fact before too long, rather than scifi.
