Judge Dredd Mega-City One to be a new TV series.
Judge Dredd, that Dirty Harry of the urban post-nuked Future, will soon be arriving on your TV. Oh happy day, you comic-book perps.
I suspect it’s a good sign that they’ve named the TV series to include the actual city name, as in so many ways, the city and Mega-City society is the real star of the dark parodies that haunt the pages of 2000AD and the various Dredd spin-off comics.
Below, the Producer, Brian Jenkins, and Rebellion CEO Jason Kingsley (owner of 2000AD and Judge Dredd) have a natter about what fans of the darkly humorous future law enforcement comic-strip can expect to see in the all new Judge Dredd Mega-City One television series.
