A supernatural Preacher, a gun-toting ex, and an Irish vampire are coming to AMC as a new TV series mid-2016 . . . based, of course, on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s iconic Vertigo comic-strip of the same name. Dominic Cooper plays Jesse Custer: the small town preacher who merges with an angel and sets out on a mission to find God along with a vampire and his ex. Now that’s a road trip I’d like to see.
