Tig Notaro to join Star Trek Discovery cast.
American stand-up comic and actress Tig Notaro is to join the Star Trek Discovery cast as a new character, chief engineer Denise Reno, serving on board a new vessel called the USS Hiawatha.
Season two of Discovery starts shooting later this month.
