Futuristic U.S. navy ship launches, commanded by … James Kirk.
The U.S. navy has just launched it’s latest futuristic warship, the U.S.S Zumwalt – and it’s commander is . . . (drumroll please), one James Kirk! No news on the middle initial of the Zumwalt’s commander, yet, but if it was ‘T’ in then we wouldn’t be disappointed over here.
The stealth-designed $4.4 billion-large shoots eighty-missiles-at-a-time Zumwalt looks like one mean mother, but we can’t help but wonder if Captain James Kirk might be better served by being moved across to the USA’s secret military space navy (as recently revealed by NASA hackers). If there is some secret big bad out there in deep space, we’d be a lot more reassured having a Captain James Kirk in charge of one of those secret weaponised starships!
