Disney Plus has been a bit short of content of late thanks to a certain nasty disease (no, not DC), so they’re filling in a few gaps with a new 13-part documentary series called Marvel’s 616 which will be streaming from November 20th 2020.
It goes behind the scenes at Marvel and looks at how comic-books are made by the creators, as well as devoured and worshipped by their fandom.
Here’s each coming new episode:
- “Japanese Spider-Man” – Directed by David Gelb.
- “Higher Further Faster” – Directed by Gillian Jacobs.
- “Amazing Artisans” – Directed by Clay Jeter.
- “Lost and Found” – Directed by Paul Scheer.
- “Suit Up!” – Directed by Andrew Rossi.
- “Unboxed” – Directed by Sarah Ramos.
- “The Marvel Method” – Directed by Brian Oakes.
- “Marvel Spotlight” – Directed by Alison Brie.
Let’s hope they can veer away from celebratory back-slapping about how lovely they all are.
