Spenser Confidential (Netflix crifi movie: trailer).

The Spenser character created by author Robert B. Parker – and later a TV detective series – is resurrected for Netflix movie Spenser Confidential as a Boston-based private investigator in the form of actor Mark Wahlberg, an ex-cop framed by a conspiracy of dirty politicians, cartel-types, and crooked police, after he tried to take them down.

He’s looking for revengayyyyy – and luckily, has actor Winston Duke as his chum, Hawk, to bring some severe physical force to the forces of corruption and crookedness; not to mention actor Alan Arkin as Henry Cimoli, playing their Alfred-like mentor and landlord, and nicely rounding out the trio.

This one hits the Netflix streams on March 6th 2020, and I for one will be watching it (I loved the original Spenser for Hire TV series with Robert Urich, and Wahlberg is a fine actor).
