ET go home (again).
The U.S. comms firm Xfinity have splurged their budget by doing a four minute-long advert reuniting E.T. with Elliott in a kind of mini-movie. I have to say, Elliott looks a lot less cute than I remember. And as for E.T. … well, never has a species evolved to be less evolutionary fit than his alien race. I mean, can you imagine that little guy trying to flee from a Xenomorph? It would be a slaughterย on the space ship!
After 37 years, E.T. comes back to visit his friend, Elliott, for the holidays. During his stay, E.T. learns that Elliott now has a family of his own and that technology has completely changed on Earth since his last visit.
