Into the Badlands (fantasy post-apocalypse TV series).
This one, Into the Badlands, is a bit of a strange old melange. The classic Chinese fantasy tale Journey to the West is set in a post-apocalypse future where America has reverted to a feudal warlord system that resembles a cross between Game of Thrones and the Wild West.
Most the fighting is done with swords, but there are a few artefacts of what has been lost – motorbikes, the odd car. Lots of violence and nooky, but shot in a colourful style reminiscent of Xena Warrior Princess. Not sure if this one will last the distance given the inherent stylistic contradictions.
