Here’s the trailer for science fiction film, Chaos Walking, based on the YA novel, The Knife of Never Letting Go, by author Patrick Ness.

The story follows Todd Hewitt, a 12-year-old boy who runs away from Prentisstown, a failing settlement on an alien colony world where human males can hear everyone else’s thoughts.

That official blurb reads,

Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display.
