Into the Night is an upcoming Netflix-original French-language TV series that is scheduled to air in 2020, inspired by the Polish science fiction novel The Old Axolotl by Jacek Dukaj, where a sudden solar event starts killing everything in its path.

There are a few ‘lucky’ passengers and crew of an overnight flight out of Brussels, as they attempt to fly west — into the safety of the night. The ordinary travelers share one thing: A desire to survive the sun — and each other — by any means necessary.
