A design for a luxurious flying liner powered by nuclear fusion (science video).

Based on an original design by artist Tony Holstrem, engineer Hashem Al-Ghaili has produced an animation for Sky Cruise, a futuristic flying liner powered by nuclear fusion.

The 5,000-person capacity craft can run suspended in the air for years without landing. In addition, this helicarrier of hotels offers a retail centre and a terrace with 360-degree views of the sky. The hotel also has cutting-edge medical facilities, and an anti-turbulence system.
