Equals (first trailer): scifi future designed by Apple Store?

Here’s the first trailer for the science fiction movie Equals, which features another rather white shiny future that could have been designed by Apple Store. This comes across as a homage to THX 1138 (George Lucas’s first movie), with the drugs replaced by a genetically engineered sheepie future race of humanity.

This film stars Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult – and is possibly the ideal vehicle for KS’s acting range – with female/male emotional contact more or less banned (including nookie, of course). But Kristen and Nicholas fall in love, and that’s where the trouble really starts.
