Brave New World (TV series: trailer).

Ah, joy of joys, there’s a new streaming service from NBCUniversal coming in July 2020 called Peacock, and one of their signature launch series is a TV adaptation of the classic science fiction tome, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, where a (dis)utopian society has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history.

This was always a utopian twin of 1984, but with plenty of dark bite – let’s hope the new TV series does the novel justice.
